Hotel Italia is a 3 star hotel in Siena, part of the hotel group Siena Inns. It is owned by the Stasi family, who is from Siena and has worked for three generations in hospitality. The building is a historic building that was transformed in the second half of the 20th century from family home to hotel.

The last renovation was completed in 2013 The hall, reception, breakfast room, lobby and bar were transformed, giving Hotel Italia a new face and a touch of originality, balancing past and present.

Hall and Bar

For our lobby and bar, we chose light colours, parquet floors, many lights and beautiful antique chandeliers, using the Dolce Vita and Hollywood stars as the main theme.

You will find many photos unconventionally modified with patches of colour, like the nice trio of Vespa scooters with the three colours of the Italian flag, placed in front of the reception, recreated by actors riding the legendary Vespa 50. Green for Vittorio Gassman, white for the great “Lollo” (Gina Lollobrigida) and red for the sweet Audrey Hepburn.

Comfortable sofas, a big screen TV, the books and magazines corner are at your disposal for moments of relax. The Coffee Corner, with free American coffee, will delight you as you take a break or sit and wait for what happens next.

The small and cosy bar is open from 10 to 22. We serve drinks, coffee, wine and aperitifs.

Breakfast Room

The Breakfast Room is instead decorated with prints of old food advertising … a blast from the past where your thoughts can wonder in the search for hidden memories. How can we forget Mr. Bonaventura of Barilla pasta or the vintage Coca Cola Santa Claus?

The background music will brighten your moments of relaxation, from morning breakfast till evening, when, upon your return, you can get a great coffee at the “Coffee Corner”, located next to the bar and available for free 24 hours a day.

We also hope to please you with our personalized “Welcome Apples”, that you will always find fresh on the sideboard in front of the reception.

From May to September, you can also take a dip in the outdoor pool of our 4 star hotel, located only 600 meters away.
